Pixel 11 Leaks Reveal Prices, Specs, and a Mystery Glowing Orb

Amazon listings and screenshots have spilled most of the details Google was planning to save for its August 12th unveiling.

Google has a habit of teasing its own phones into oblivion before launch day, but this year even the leakers are doing some of that work for them. With the Pixel 11 lineup set to debut on August 12th, a wave of leaked Amazon listings and screenshots has already laid out colors, screen sizes, batteries, and pricing for all four models — leaving Google with a shrinking pile of actual surprises to unveil.

The leak trail started with a report from 9to5Google, which spotted what it described as placeholder listings on Amazon, published early and complete with official-looking product images. Those listings showed the standard Pixel 11 in three colorways — Midnight, Fuchsia, and Moss — while the Pixel 11 Pro appeared in Dune, Light Fog, and Pine. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold, meanwhile, turned up in Midnight and Pine.

According to that same leak, the base Pixel 11 will run a 6.3-inch display, pair 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, and carry a 4,985mAh battery. Pricing reportedly starts at $899, a $100 jump over where the Pixel 10 launched.

A day later, Android Authority said it had gotten its own look at additional screenshots from the same listings, adding a few more details: a 120Hz refresh rate, a 13-megapixel front camera, and support for Bluetooth 6 and Wi-Fi 6E. One wrinkle worth flagging — Android Authority's screenshots reportedly listed the base Pixel 11's resolution as 2,856 x 1,280, which doesn't match the 1,080 x 2,424 figure 9to5Google had reported earlier. It's the kind of contradiction that's common with pre-launch leaks scraped from unfinished listings, and a reminder that not everything floating around right now should be treated as confirmed.

What the Pro models are shaping up to look like

For the Pixel 11 Pro, Android Authority's screenshots pointed to the same 6.3-inch display size as the base model, along with a 13-megapixel front camera and a claimed 120x digital zoom. Pricing was reported at a range of $1,099 to $1,449, up from last year's $999 to $1,399 spread.

The larger Pixel 11 Pro XL is said to step up to a 6.8-inch, 120Hz display at 2,991 x 1,344 resolution, backed by a 5,115mAh battery and the same 13-megapixel selfie camera. Like the rest of the lineup, it's expected to include Bluetooth 6 and Wi-Fi 6E. Android Authority, citing Droid Life, put its possible pricing between $1,299 and $1,649 — another $100 increase over the outgoing model.

Then there's the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Google's foldable entry, which the leaks describe with a 6.5-inch outer OLED display running at 120Hz and a 2,342 x 1,080 resolution. It's reportedly getting a 4,750mAh battery, a 13-megapixel front camera, and the same Bluetooth 6/Wi-Fi 6E combo. Pricing is said to start at $1,899 for the 256GB version and $2,019 for 512GB — both increases over last year's $1,799 starting price.

That battery figure for the Pro Fold is worth a second look. Android Authority noted that it's actually smaller than the 5,015mAh pack in last year's Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and speculated the number could simply be inaccurate placeholder text rather than a real spec cut. Given that these listings were pulled down after they surfaced, there's plenty of room for error across the board.

The one thing that isn't a rumor

Amid all the spec speculation, one detail comes straight from Google itself: a small, color-shifting orb built into the Pixel 11's camera bar, spotted by 9to5Google in the animation on Google's own teaser page for the phone. What it actually does or represents hasn't been explained, though it's easy to guess it ties into some AI feature Google plans to spotlight at the launch event.

Everything else — the resolutions, the battery capacities, the prices — is still technically unofficial, pulled from listings and screenshots rather than anything Google has confirmed. Given the contradictions already surfacing between outlets, some of these numbers will likely shift, or turn out flat wrong, once Google actually takes the stage.

Google's August 12th event will settle which of these leaked details hold up. Until then, the broad shape of the Pixel 11 family looks set: four models, familiar sizes, higher prices across the board, and a camera bar with a small glowing mystery that Google hasn't explained yet.
